Chalky's Brookvale serves modern Australian pub food with a South-American twist from Michelin-trained Chef Marti. Share plates, smash burgers, churrasco-style steaks, grilled barramundi, the famous Sunday Roast, a 600g ribeye centrepiece, kids menu and a serious drinks list — 16 taps of independent beer, a wine list with 150ml/250ml/bottle pours, a whisky shelf and full cocktails. Chef Marti's Sunday Roast is one of the most popular things on the menu — roast vegies, real Yorkshire puddings, his mum's gravy and a slow-cooked cut of beef for $36 per person. It regularly sells out, so book a table online to lock it in.

What are Chalky's kitchen hours?
Chef Marti's kitchen is open every day Chalky's is open. Food service runs Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 9:30pm, Friday from 3pm to 10pm, Saturday from 12pm to 10pm and Sunday from 12pm to 9pm. Sunday Roast is served from 12pm Sunday until it sells out.
Do you do a Sunday Roast and how do I book it?
Yes — Chef Marti's Sunday Roast is one of the most popular things on the menu. We serve it every Sunday from 12pm with roast vegies, real Yorkshire puddings, his mum's gravy and a slow-cooked cut of beef. It's $36 per person and we strongly recommend booking a table online so you don't miss out — it regularly sells out by mid-afternoon.

Think share plates like calamari, corn ribs and arancini, smash burgers and chicken burgers, churrasco-style steaks, grilled barramundi and a 600g ribeye centrepiece — designed for sharing across a table with mates.
Do you cater for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and dairy free diets?
Yes — every item on the menu is tagged with NF (nut free), V (vegetarian), VG (vegan), GF (gluten free) and DF (dairy free) so you can see at a glance what works. Several items including the Smash Burger, Chicken Burger and burritos can be made GF on request. Always let our staff know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you order.
Is there a kids menu?
Yes — we have a dedicated kids menu with a cheeseburger, hot dog and chicken tenders, all served with fries for $15 each. Kids are welcome to order from the main menu too if they prefer.
Can we order share platters or feed a big group?
Absolutely — share plates are the heart of the menu. The $48 Sportsman platter (sliders, tenders, calamari, corn ribs and fries) and the $68 Lamb for 2 are designed to feed a hungry group, and the $98 600g Ribeye is the centrepiece. For larger groups we can pre-arrange a feed package — just mention it when you book.
Can I order food while I play pool or in the karaoke room?
Yes — the full restaurant menu is available straight to the pool tables and to your private karaoke room. Order from the tablet in the karaoke room or flag down a staff member at the pool tables and we'll bring it to you so the game (or the singing) never stops.
What drinks do you have on tap and on the back bar?
We pour 16 taps of independent beer, a wine list with 150ml, 250ml and bottle pours, a serious whisky shelf (Scotch, American, Irish, Japanese and Australian) and a full cocktail program. Members get 5–15% off food and drinks depending on their tier.
Do I need to book a table to eat or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome and we'll seat you on the next available table. From Wednesday to Sunday evenings — and especially for the Sunday Roast — tables fill up fast, so we recommend booking online to lock in your time.
Where are you located and is there parking?
Chalky's is on Charlton Lane, Brookvale NSW 2100, just off Pittwater Road. There's free street parking on Charlton Lane and the surrounding streets, and we're a short drive from Manly, Dee Why and the rest of the Northern Beaches.
